When Death Row inmate Clarence (guest star LL Cool J) mysteriously and suddenly collapses after hallucinating, House jumps at the chance to take the case for its difficulty and because it's "cool." Dr. Cameron refuses to treat the patient in protest and feels they should treat a cancer patient because she's more deserving, raising the question: is one life more important than another? Meanwhile, House and Stacy (guest star Sela Ward) are adjusting to her working at the hospital. As House goes though his diagnostic process, including having a drink or three with his prisoner patient, Dr. Cameron must come to terms with the fact that she just might not be able to help every patient in the "Acceptance" episode of HOUSE Tuesday, Sept. 13 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX

#2.01 Acceptance - Un carcerato in attesa dell'attuazione della pena capitale (guest star LL Cool J) è colpito da un improvviso e sconosciuto malanno. Familiar show, new version. House opens its doors on its new season tonight
with a strong episode that represents everything that is remarkable about
this fine drama.

Thoughtful and thought-provoking by turns, the episode -- titled Acceptance
-- is a tightly wound tale of suspense and crossed signals that defies
every TV cliché you think you see coming. Next week's second episode is
even stronger. If Hugh Laurie should win this weekend's Emmy Award -- as
many on the inside are now predicting -- now you know why.
There's an energetic vibrancy, a confidence to the acting, writing and
directing in tonight's episode you often don't see in television dramas
that have been on for years, let alone are entering their dreaded sophomore
season.

That's almost beside the point, though. What matters is that House engages
one on almost every level.

Acceptance poses one of those ethical dilemmas House is so very good at: A
death row inmate, a violent, angry, unapologetic murderer, has a brain
seizure. A court order forces House and his staff to revive and treat the
man, so the state can execute him at a later date. Meanwhile, House denies
expensive treatment to a young woman who has led an exemplary life, and who
is unknowingly dying of cancer. House rejects treatment on the grounds that
it would be pointless: The young woman will die anyway, so why bother?

Both dilemmas are resolved; neither in a pat or predictable way. House is
too smart for that. You may think you see what's coming, but you'd be
wrong. Based on tonight's evidence, House is now one of the three best
dramas on television. And in this golden age of TV drama, that's saying a lot.

Questo è quello che leggo fino ad ora in giro, metto considerazioni sparse:

*Cameron un personaggio un pò diverso dalla prima serie.Oltre al look ritroviamo una ragazza più simpatica, pronta alla battuta, molto meno "pesante" della serie precedente.

*Viene da molti definito "Carino" il modo in cui House tratta Cameron...Se ciò viene sottolineato spesso, vuol dire che le premesse per noi "Cotton Candy" sono più che ottime *_____*

*Sela Ward/Stacy ha sorpreso tutti, non è stato tutto questo sfacelo come si aspettavano...anzi quasi simpatica!!! (ma la missione "Stacy al rogo" continua senza dubbio

* Superbo Hugh Laurie.Grande intepretazione, come d'altronde era stato anticipato nell'intervista che ci avevo postato.L'Emmy arriva!!!

*Più voci dicono che in questo primo episodio Cameron appare come un pessimo medico, per come si comporta nei confronti del paziente, per come agisce...

*C'è molta interazione Cameron/Wilson in questo primo episodio...e i fan già si scatenano su una probabile relazione tra i due (mio dio speriamo di no (IMG:http://www.freefans.net/forum/style_emoticons/smileys/wacko.gif)
Comunque, sia House che Wilson cercheranno di aiutarla nel superare l'ennesima difficoltà nel comunicare le cattive notizie ai pazienti o loro familiari

*Da quanto ho capito, in questa puntata Cameron tratterà un paziente malato di cancro.Si verrà a sapere di più della storia di suo marito, morto per un cancro alla tiroide...Cameron l'amava ma l'aveva sposato solo per non lasciarlo solo.

*Foreman sembra sempre più House, sta diventando un gran bel personaggio.Dopo questa prima puntata risulta essere il più apprezzato.

raga scusate qualcuno sa dove posso trovare i sottotitoli della puntata 2.01 di House?

Allora... il comportamento di House verso Cameron può essere considerato "carino" se sei un masochista (IMG:http://www.freefans.net/forum/style_emoticons/smileys/-_-.gif) Praticamente litigano per l'intero episodio... e devo dire che sono quasi completamente dalla parte di Cameron, solo perché il caso di Cindy non è "figo" come quello di Clarence non vuol dire che deve buttare lì una diagnosi e basta, i test vanno fatti. Poi vabbeh probabilmente Cameron non ha ricevuto il promemoria dagli autori "quando House butta li una diagnosi, all 99% è giusta.... è il protagonista SVEGLIA"
Per Cameron/Wilson... lol è assolutamente impossibile, però mi piace il fatto che Wilson da giovane fosse come lei.
L'interazione House/Stacy sembra essere molto piatta... voglio dire, lui mostra più emozione quando Cameron gli frega i pennarelli che nel dovendo lavorare con Stacy... a proposito, io adoro House, ma quanto è irritante con la storia dei pennarelli? Insomma che cacchio aveva in questo episodio? Perché si comporta con Cameron in quel modo? Non lo so sto cercando di capire... voglio era semplicemente così, perché gli girava? E' per tenerla a bada e lontano da sè because he can't deal with his feelings for her? Praticamente una 1.16 "Heavy" parte seconda? E' perché vuole farsi odiare (a proposito, quando Cameron dice che ora lei non ha più sentimenti per lui e lo odia come tutti... quanto stava mentendo, molto o moltissimo?)?
Uhm ok, dalla visione di qualche clip questa è la mia impressione... non è un granché come commento ma quando vedrò l'episodio intero vi dirò.
